JOB DESCRIPTION: Conduct and oversee the weekly estimating meeting to evaluate and target projects. Responsible for developing accurate project budgets, cost analysis, labor estimate and material requirements, and labor hours utilizing On-Screen Takeoffs and Quick Bids software. Collaborate with different general contractors (GCs) to review project documents using Bluebeam software and perform detailed quantity take-offs and pricing. This will include trades such as drywall, ACT, painting, wallcovering, and concrete. Conduct project hand-off meetings with the operations team, providing comprehensive project details to the project manager. Reading construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications is required. Involved in contract review of the project. Onscreen take off and quick bids software. Developing schedule of values (SOV) for owner pay app and billing. Create estimated working budgets for project managers to support real-time decision-making. Conducting scope review meetings, preparing accurate project budgets, and projecting project schedules using Microsoft Project. Working on submittals, closeout and warranty. Reviewing all the IFC set, Bulletins and ASI and update the project estimate accordingly. Using clearstory to create in detail change order breakdown request for client approval.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Science, Construction, Facilities, Management or related field of study and six months of experience in the construction industry.
